WHO CAN ATTEND CUCOH?
CUCOH is open to any undergraduate students interested in learning about the Canadian healthcare system. There is no selection preference for school or program of study and is allotted on a first come, first serve basis. Delegates must pre-register and pay their registration fees by the deadline (TBA). WHAT IS A TYPICAL DAY AT CUCOH LIKE?
Following check-in on Friday evening, delegates attend a meet-and-greet social. The keynote speakers are scheduled for Saturday and Sunday mornings, after which delegates can attend seminars, workshops, case challenges, research competitions and an information fair. Saturday night also hosts a banquet social with a keynote speaker, while Sunday boasts our Research and Initiatives competitions and award ceremonies.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A SEMINAR/WORKSHOP?
Both offer interactive opportunities for students to personalize their experience. Seminars are run by experts in the field, allowing an in-depth exploration of a specialized topic, while workshops offer hands-on experience, allowing delegates to learn new skills from seasoned professionals.
CAN I ATTEND ONLY ONE DAY OF CUCOH?
Unfortunately, due to high attendance rates, we are unable to offer one day tickets. However, we are able to offer single keynote speaker or seminar presentation admission tickets.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING/WEAR TO CUCOH?
Delegates will receive their delegate package, schedule, name tag, pen and notebook when they register, and are advised to bring a refillable water bottle. Please keep phones out of sight during speakers, seminars and workshops. The dress code for the weekend is business formal and semi-formal for the Saturday night banquet
